As Woody goes to overtake, a stupid red van man decides to turn right without checking his mirrors or signalling. Van drivers are arses... except me. :)

I hate it when people don't indicate. It hardly takes much effort.

The motorcyclist was following too closely and was weaving in and out of traffic, there wasn't enough space for the 4-wheeled vehicles to safely drive let alone adding a bike in the mix. In Canada, if the police see someone riding like that they would have been charged with a criminal offense and had their driver's licence possibly taken. Was the motorcycle signaling lane changes?

Well I dunno about in Canada, but in the UK, over-taking is a perfectly legal to do.

I ride myself, and am from canada. I really don't think the motorcycle was committing any crimal offences...I really wouldn't call that reckless driving. There's another video like this but the bike hits the side of the turning vehicle. I've been in the same situation, luckily the driver signaled as well as stuck his arm out the window indicating a turn right as i was about to pass...good man. Really though never overtake when there's the possibilty to turn. Be safe.

That van driver could be charged for causing an inconvenience to other motorists by not using his turn signal.

stupid place to overtake in the first place. since when do you over take at a junction???? ive been riding bikes for 10years (not that long really) unless he didnt know the road in which case he shouldnt be overtaking in the first place really

It's not like a main junction. It's a hidden turning. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not like the van was indicating it was turning!

I hardly overtake on my bike anymore because of stuff like this. Most of the time you end up 3 or 4 cars ahead gain 30 meters why not just leave earlier.

Fair point but in my opinion, one of the great perks of biking it- is the ability to get through traffic. If you're going to sit in it, then you may as well have a car and enjoy the radio!
