Yes- you will be able to change all your strings at once when in Hardtail or Dive Only modes. I suggest you leave at least one string on to retain *some* tension on that side of the guitar (and the neck). __________________________________________________

All you do is tighten or loosen the thumbscrews to select which 'mode' you want the guitar to function in. It's really pretty simple. The hard part is the 10-15 minutes of installation and few minutes of tweaking/adjusting the alignment. __________________________________________________
