Description:

Slideshow of Jim & Pam set to HIM's Join Me In Death (8 December 1943 -- 3 July 1971) Morrison is buried in the famous Père Lachaise cemetery in eastern Paris. The grave was unmarked until French officials placed a shield over it, which was subsequently stolen in 1973. In 1981, a square headstone with Morrison's name was erected. The Greek inscription on the head stone reads Κατὰ τον δαίμονα ἑαυτοῦ, in capital letters (ΚΑΤΑ ΤΟΝ ΔΑΙΜΟΝΑ ΕΑΥΤΟΥ). The inscription means "True to his own spirit". (December 22, 1946-April 25, 1974) Pamela's parents intended that she be buried next to Morrison at Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, and listed this location as the place of burial on her death certificate, but due to legal complications with transporting the body to France, her parents had her remains buried at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California. Join Me In Death Baby join me in death Baby join me in death Baby join me in death We are so young Our lives have just begun But already were considering Escape from this world And weve waited for so long For this moment to come Was so anxious to be together Together in death Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death Wont you die Baby join me in death Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death This world is a cruel place And were here only to lose So before live tears us apart let Death bless me with you Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death Wont you die Baby join me in death Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death This live aint worth living This live aint worth living This live aint worth living This live aint worth living Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death Wont you die Baby join me in death Wont you die tonight for love Baby join me in death Baby join me in death

Nobody can speak for Jim, except Jim. How do you know what he would or wouldn't have liked?!

because I understand his influences and musical tastes, have read much about him, and he was interested in more than just love which is all HIM sings about. badly too i might add.

Your entitled to your own opinion but they both have have a aspect of Romanticism about them. Characterized by a heightened interest in nature, emphasis on the individual's expression of emotion and imagination, departure from the attitudes and forms of classicism, and rebellion against established social rules and conventions. I've read alot about Morrison too but like I said only he can say what he likes\dislikes & he's not talking.

I didn't say jim didn't have love songs. I said he was into more than love and am aware of those few songs about Pam/love out of how many the doors have. What has HIM written about besides love?

I understand love is an eternally mysterious emotion men have devoted their lives trying to define, but I think a lot of bands know love is where the money's at and capitalize on it to sell albums directed at lonely, rejected heart broken people, which are many, and don't have much respect for a lot of music today that doesn't say much else.

love is an important topic, sure, but there are so many other things where are the bob dylans/jim morrison's/neil young's/david bowie's etc of our age? something has happened to the music industry, exploiting it as a commercial good instead of an art..anyway, jim liked blues, southern style music, elvis..but yeah he is dead, I even went to his grave in paris..

I get your point you don't like HIM & think that Jim wouldn't either. I enjoy HIM & found this song w\ Death, Darkness & Love very fitting to Jim & Pam.
