But it's still a take on the zombie movie, with the bite infection, the post-apocalypse theme, the small group of uninfected survivors.....

I agree on fear of the unknown, but the 6th sense, a psychological thriller? You want a good psychological thriller try Lost Highway or Session 9. The 6th sense isn't even close. The reason people like 28 days later is that one could concieve the ALF freeing diseased animals and causing a plague. The movie was made around the time some ALF nuts freed a bunch of minks from a mink farm and almost caused the extinction of some animals in Britian.

This movie isn't at all scary.. I'm tired of these cliche zombie movies.. "possible?" the hell are those people smoking?.. The scariest movies every made are the ones that play on our fear of the unknown, there are many deeply religious people out there and that's what made The Exorcist great, then there are people who believe in the supernatural which made The Sixth Sense such a psychological thriller..

I heard that to great the big wide shots of an empty London, they had to film just on Saturaday and Sunday very very early in the morning. Apparently, they had to stop confused clubbers going home from wandering into shot.
