MichaelHew ::: Favorites First two Superman movies with Reeves, Hackman, Kidder are brilliant. They are how you should make a superhero movie. Spiderman 1 and 2 have copied this formula to great success obviously, as has X-Men 1 and 2. Let us not forget Superman hasn't been on the big screen for almost 20 years before Returns, plus Superman 2 (last good one) hasn't been around for 25 years. AaronP2005 ::: Favorites I never really enjoyed Superman Returns as the original with Reeve was too powerful. I like the idea they kept a similar feel to the opening credits. MichaelHew ::: Favorites I got goosebumps when I saw this in theatres, it just made me all warm and happy inside. Just to see Superman back on the big screen made my day. Was it a great movie like Supes 1 and 2, no, was it trash like Supes 3 and 4 no. It was right in the middle. And a good way to get Superman back on to the big screen and sort of bring the audience back up to speed.
