My boyfriend came back from Vietnam safely but to be honest with you, he didn't seem like the same person. The war really affected him. But he's probably ok now....that was a long time ago. Tommy, it's so obvious that you are a baby boomer, because you can tell that you feel such passion for our music back then and what it meant to all of us. roxinger ::: Favorites The song always makes me cry, & Gary asked me about it after a show he did in Jan. of last year. I sat about 2 feet from the stage, right in front of him, & started crying as soon as he started singing it. I told him about my high school boyfriend losing his life in Vietnam, & that I'm glad he sings the song in honor of our vets & active duty troops.
