ladybebetter ::: Favorites This is a fantastic role! And it has actually been played fantastically well, very differently, by many! And this is a fantastic performance! But re Joe Gillis, both the gorgeous John Barrowman and Hugh Jackmam are both 40 now. And the whole point re the character is that he is still supposed to be very young (25), and still efectively an untried writer rather than a failed one. He shouldn't have sold out for an easy life. But re Joe Gillis, the gorgeous John Barrowman doesn't look it, but is 40 now, as is Hugh Jackman!
