You shouldn't learn about human history from a fantasy cartoon series. The Aztecs didn't even use the wheel or iron. Khuratokh ::: Favorites The Aztecs didn't use the wheel because it served no useful purpose in a land where there weren't any oxen or horses to pull carts, that doesn't mean however that they never invented it. There are some lovely Olmec toys from 1500 BC: wooden jaguars on a plank with wheels that could be pulled along by a string. As for Iron, Iron was a metal that in some parts of Meso-America was even rarer than gold. I know of several Archaeologists who after seeing this in their childhood were inspired to study Archaeology.
