Gildas9 ::: Favorites CuriositysCat, this film does have some translations available, but German is extremely easy for an English-speaker to learn-- German and English are very similar Germanic languages with lots of Latin and French in both. Sound a bit different but very similar. (We Anglo-Saxons in the UK came from Saxony and Schleswig in Germany originally.) E.g. "both sides" = "beide Seiten," "my right hand" = "meine rechte Hand," "my heart" = "mein Herz" and so on. Schadenfreude I know quite well, although that has nothing to do with my dad's singing...
