animalityyy ::: Favorites why does he pronounce "prairie dog" the same way if he is speaking jap? D: 07-07-31 20:25:57 _____________________________________________________
GutsAnGlory ::: Favorites ITS THE DRAMATIC HAMSTER!!! 07-07-31 21:50:29 _____________________________________________________
menotbugsobugmenot ::: Favorites Bahahaha. In American farmland, prairie dogs are pests. Someone got the bright idea of sucking them out of their holes (with a port-o-potty vacuum) and sell them to the Japanese as pets. :D 07-08-01 09:42:12 _____________________________________________________
momoruf ::: Favorites THE HAMSTER IS CRAZY!!! 07-08-01 11:56:56 _____________________________________________________
closedmouth ::: Favorites Why wouldn't he? PU-RE-RI DO-GU 07-08-04 02:42:27 _____________________________________________________
animalityyy ::: Favorites well because japanese is a completely different language from english and i don't know if that is the way they call a prairie dog over there or if there is a specific word u.u 07-08-04 02:45:10 _____________________________________________________
animalityyy ::: Favorites hahaha i have seen that it is funny ( how they get sucked into the cage with a D: expression on their faces) or at least better than killing them 07-08-04 02:46:29 _____________________________________________________
closedmouth ::: Favorites They loan hundreds of words from all different languages. I do agree, though. I always find it odd when they use English words instead of Japanese. Like, surely he could have said kusahara-inu. 07-08-04 02:49:17 _____________________________________________________
animalityyy ::: Favorites that's what i meant :] 07-08-04 02:52:01 _____________________________________________________
Xyliacai ::: Favorites Well, they could have said kusahara-inu, except to them, it wouldn't make any sense. They adopt these words because they don't originally have these things in their country. For example, someone had said prairie dogs were imported from America, hence using English words to describe it instead of Japanese ones. :) 07-08-04 19:14:16 _____________________________________________________ |
